Killhope Challenge rides 2026 take place on Sunday April 19th. Two distances, 102km and 54km, on quiet country roads in the North Pennines, starting and finishing in Lanchester Co Durham . Some very sad news, our long time member in Cuba Peter Marshall has passed away after a short illness his wife Ana Maria Maza has confirmed. We all started cycling together circa 1962, this is a Club run on the road from Stamfordham to Ponteland, no helmets or lycra in those days, just woolly jumpers and jeans for some.
